Joe Doppio a très tôt découvert son amour pour la musique. A l'age de 5 ans, Joe joue déjà avec la chaîne hi-fi des ces parents et plus tard avec une platine et découvre vite que l'intérêt qu'il porte du dj'ing est réel. Il commence a acheter des vinyles et détient à l'heure actuelle une collection de pas moins de 23'000 disques.

En 1979, il débute sa carrière de dj en club dans la banlieue de Rome. En 25 ans de carrière Joe a joué dans de nombreux clubs et pays de la Grèce à la Suisse en passant par Malte l'Italie ou encore la France.

Après avoir assuré sa réputation de Dj de clubs, Joe apparaît a la radio et se lance dans la production au mileu des années 90.

Joe Doppio travaille également comme représentant pour les labels Fyling Records et UMM en Italie à cette même période. A la fin des années 90, Joe sera au service de Turning Point LTD qui promotionne les labels de dance musique aux Etats-Unis.

A présent, Joe se consacre uniquement au Dj'ing et au développement de son label Catch the Vinyl avec son partenaire Toni Maione.

Joe préfère la qualité à la quantité et que l'accent soit mis sur la soul naturelle des morceaux. Joe déclare d'ailleurs "Merci a tout ceux qui croient et font confiance a la house musique, les artistes, producteurs et dj's qui promotionnent ce son qui nous est cher….je vous aime tous…Peace…
